DUSHANBE, 10.05.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan Ramazon Rahimzoda met with the representatives of the Ministry of Public Security of China led by the head of the Public Security Department of Nanjing Sun Jiang.

“Year by year the cooperation between the Tajik Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Chinese Ministry of Public Security is developing and strengthening on the basis of bilateral and multilateral agreements,” noted Rahimzoda, while welcoming Jiang to Tajikistan.

The meeting, which was held in a friendly atmosphere and in the spirit of mutual understanding, focused on the issues related to bilateral relations between the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan in Dushanbe and the Public Security Department of China in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province.

The parties also exchanged views on strengthening bilateral relations in the fight against terrorism, extremism, separatism, drug trafficking, the training of highly qualified personnel, the provision of technical and communication assistance and other issues of mutual interest.

Following the meeting, both parties presented a number of proposals for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the fight against crime, challenges and threats of the modern world.
