Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali Allocates Nearly 300,000 Somoni to WWII Veterans
DUSHANBE, 04.09.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali instructed the city’s Main Financial Department to allocate 4.94 million somoni at the expense of the funds provided for performing the capital’s functions. Of this sum 226,800 somoni will be allocated to participants and invalids of World War II, and 4.7 million somoni to the employees of road maintenance departments of the districts of Dushanbe.
This step was taken in anticipation of the 28th anniversary of state independence and support those in need, reports the Department of Public Information and External Affairs of the Chairman’s Office.
Rustam Emomali also instructed the chairmen of Shohmansur, Ismoili Somoni, Firdavsi and Sino capital’s districts to provide financial assistance to boarding school students and single people at the expense of sponsors, charitable foundations and other sources of funding within the framework of normative legal acts.
The distribution of these funds will be carried out through the accounting sector of the Office of the Chairman of Dushanbe in the capital’s districts through September 7.
