FFT Secretary General Islomov Attends the AFC Competition Committee Meeting in Kuala Lumpur
DUSHANBE, 19.09.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The General Secretary of the Football Federation of Tajikistan Davlatmand Islomov attended the first meeting of the new composition of the Asian Football Confederation Competition Committee, which was held in Kuala Lumpur.
At a meeting, Uzbekistan and Bahrain were recommended as hosts of the Asian U-19 and U-16 Championships 2020, respectively.
The Asian U-19 Championship 2020 will be held from October 14 through October 31 and the Asian U-16 Championship from September 16 through October 3.
The AFC Solidarity Cup, which will be held for ten lowest ranked countries (six excluded in the first round of the World Cup 2022 qualifying tournament and four lower teams in the second round), will be held from November 30 through December 13, 2020.
The AFC Competition Committee also agreed with the recommendation that next year the round of the 1/8 finals of the AFC Champions League in the Western Zone should be rescheduled from May 25/26 and June 15/16 to May 18/19 and May 25/26.
