Tajik Athlete Munisa Won Gold at the International Tournament G1 Beirut Open 2019
DUSHANBE, 10.09.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – A young athlete and member of the Tajik Taekwondo (WT) team among youth, Munisa Oymatova, was awarded a gold medal in the international tournament G1 Beirut Open 2019.
The competitions were held among children, adolescents, youth and adults from September 6 through September 8 in Beirut, Lebanon. Athletes from 21 countries attended the tournament.
“Oymatova took first place in the weight up to 49 kg among youth and became the recipient of the gold medal,” reported the Taekwondo Federation (WT) of Tajikistan.
In 2019, Oymatova was awarded medals in five competitions of various levels. In particular, she won gold medals in Almaty and Seoul.
