Tajik Girls Team Beat Their Uzbek Peers at the CAFA U-15 Championship 2019
DUSHANBE, 16.09.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The girls football team of Tajikistan (U-15) defeated their Uzbek peers in the second round of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) which is taking place in Tashkent.
The Uzbek team was defeated with a score of 2-0. Rukhshona Fayzulloeva scoring double for the Tajik team.
In another match, the Iranian team defeated the Kyrgyz team with the score of 1-0.
Following the two rounds, the Iranian team leads the standings with six points. The Kyrgyz and the Tajik each are in second and third place respectively, with each having scored three points. The national team of Uzbekistan, which has not scored a single point, ranks last in the group.
Today, Tajik girls will play against their Kyrgyz peers in the final round. This match will be held at the Lokomotiv stadium at 12:00. In order to win the silver medal, the Tajik team only needs one more victory.
