Tajik Interior Minister Rahimzoda Sent a Telegram to Russian Minister Regarding the Brutal Beating of a Young Tajik by Russian Skinheads
DUSHANBE, 03.09.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The Minister of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan Ramazon Rahimzoda in connection with the brutal beating of a young Tajik by Russian skinheads (a Russian nationalist group), a video of which was distributed on social networks on August 30, sent a telegram to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Kolokoltsev on the same day.
Rahimzoda asked his colleague to assist in the timely disclosure of this crime, bring the criminals to justice and take strict control of the investigation of the crime, reports the Tajik Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The relevant structures of the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of Tajikistan dealing with labor migration issues were instructed to contact their colleagues in Russian in order to assist in the investigation of this crime, reads the message of the ministry.
According to a source, a representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs and Embassy in Tajikistan have also been notified of this incident.
