Prosecutor Generals of Tajikistan and Qatar Meet in Doha
DUSHANBE, 10.10.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The Prosecutor General of Tajikistan Yusuf Rahmon met with the Prosecutor General of Qatar Ali Bin Fetais Al-Marri on October 8 in Doha.
The meeting focused on the issues relating to the Tajik-Qatari cooperation in the criminal and legal sphere, strengthening the rule of law, combating international terrorism and extremism.
The two officials also expressed mutual interest in the development of interdepartmental contacts, in particular, the intensification of the exchange of experience and information.
Following the meeting, Rahmon and Al-Marri signed a memorandum of cooperation between their offices.
