Tajik and Russian Interior Ministries Hold Joint Board in Moscow
DUSHANBE, 09.10.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The meeting of the Joint Board of the ministries of the internal affairs of Tajikistan and Russia was held yesterday in Moscow.
The Interior Ministers of the two states Ramazon Rahimzoda of Tajikistan and Vladimir Kolokoltsev of Russian attended the meeting.
The two ministers approved the work plan of the ministries of internal affairs of Russia and Tajikistan for 2020 as well as adopted relevant decisions.
The meeting focused on the issues relating to the strengthening cooperation between investigative units of the two ministries, the development of bilateral cooperation of internal affairs bodies during the preliminary investigation of criminal cases, as well as measures to improve cooperation in the field of prevention, detection and disclosure of crimes relating to illicit drug trafficking of the opium group.
A number of proposals were also made on measures to improve cooperation between the investigative units of the two ministries.
Following the meeting, the ministers of the two states made a closing speech and expressed their satisfaction with the results achieved.
