Tajikistan to Host ECO Ministerial Meeting on Tourism
DUSHANBE, 02.10.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The third meeting of tourism ministers of the member states of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) and senior experts will be held from October 3 through October 4 in Khujand, reports the Tajik Committee for Tourism Development.
The meeting will focus on the draft agenda of the 3rd meeting of tourism ministers of the ECO countries, the decisions of the 2nd meeting of the ECO ministers on tourism, the Action Plan for Tourism, updating and review of the action plan for ecotourism in the ECO region, the draft regional strategy for ecological tourism of the ECO, new projects in the field of tourism, the choice of the ECO capital for tourism, the expansion of cooperation between member countries in the field of medical tourism, the ECO-tourist visa for tourism, the network of operators ECO-tour, the preparation of the Khujand Declaration, the next meeting, the approval of the draft of the 3rd meeting of ministers of tourism and other issues relating to tourism of the ECO member countries.
