Tajik-Kyrgyz Border Issues Discussed in Isfara
DUSHANBE, 15.01.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, Tajik and Kyrgyz Deputy Prime Ministers Azim Ibrokhim and Jenesh Razakov met to discuss the recurrent provocations and conflicts in the shared border area.
The meeting which took place in the Tajik city of Isfara also included the heads of power structures.
While exchanging views on the importance of continuing the delimitation process of the outstanding border areas, the heads of local bodies were instructed to work on deescalating conflicts and quickly preventing threats.
The talks were held in a friendly atmosphere, following which a corresponding protocol was signed.
