Rospotrebnadzor Provides Tajik Health Ministry with Rapid Tests for Coronavirus
DUSHANBE, 05.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Federal Service for the Protection of Consumer Rights of Russia Rospotrebnadzor provided the Tajik Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population with rapid tests for detecting the coronavirus.
“Now these tests are in the ministry’s virological laboratory and if people with the primary signs of a new virus are identified, those responsible will use them,” said the Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Mirhamuddin Kamolzoda.
According to him, the ministry’s virological laboratories are currently in a state of readiness, and if people with primary signs of the new virus are detected, diagnostic work will be carried out immediately.
“Currently, more than 300 people who arrived in Tajikistan from China are hospitalized in various clinics and are supervised by doctors. It should be noted that so far no cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Tajikistan,” Kamolzoda emphasized.
