4013 People Are Still in Quarantine in Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 31.03.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – From February 1 through March 30, 6159 people who arrived in Tajikistan from foreign states were quarantined at the country’s infectious diseases hospitals and sanatoriums, the Tajik Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population reported.
Out of this number, 2146 were discharged and 4013 are still in quarantine.
To date no coronavirus case has been registered in Tajikistan, the ministry said.
The ministry of activated a helpline — 511, which works around the clock, in order to prevent the appearance and spread of coronavirus.
The ministry asks the country’s residents to immediately report signs of coronavirus and other cases associated with it to the relevant authorities.
