436 People Are Still in Quarantine in Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 12.03.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – From February 1 through March 10, 1583 people who arrived in Tajikistan from China, South Korea, Japan, Italy, Iran and Afghanistan, were quarantined, the Tajik Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population reported.
Out of this number, 1147 were discharged and 436 are still in quarantine.
To date no coronavirus case has been registered in Tajikistan. However, the country continues to take measures to prevent it, the ministry said.
According to official data, 114 countries currently confirmed coronavirus cases. This situation forces Tajik specialists, including officials of all relevant ministries and departments, to take and strengthen preventive measures.
