Rustam Emomali Nominates as a Member of Tajikistan’s National Assembly
DUSHANBE, 13.03.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Deputies of the Assembly of People’s Deputies of Dushanbe nominated Rustam Emomali as a member of the National Assembly of Tajikistan’s Supreme Assembly.
Following a secret vote, Rustam Emomali was nominated by a majority of votes as a member of the National Assembly from Dushanbe’s electoral district.
This proposal was submitted today for consideration by newly elected deputies at the first session of the Assembly of People’s Deputies of Dushanbe of the sixth convocation.
During the session, the newly elected deputies in accordance with the Law “On the Legal Status of Deputies of the Assembly of People’s Deputies of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast, regions, Dushanbe, cities and districts” took the oath.
The Deputies also approved the Assembly’s Rules and the regulations of the its permanent and temporary commissions, as well as discussed 8 issues. 12 permanent commissions were also created, and their chairmen and members were elected.
Also, Assembly’s temporary commissions were created to assign names and rename mahallas, streets, avenues, gardens, squares, bridges and parts of localities of Dushanbe and to implement the Law ‘On the State Language’.
The Assembly’s first session also examined and approved the decisions adopted by the Chairman of Dushanbe on important issues of urban management.
Appropriate decisions were made on all the issues considered.
