Tajik Government Takes All Necessary Measures to Return Citizens
DUSHANBE, 27.03.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The government of Tajikistan has taken all necessary measures to solve the difficulties encountered by Tajik citizens relating to the introduction of restrictions in different countries due to the spread of coronavirus infection, reports the Tajik Embassy in Russia.
Over the past week, Tajik Air and Somon Air charter flights were organized along the Moscow-Dushanbe route, thanks to which Tajik citizens, who were in Russian Domodedovo, Zhukovsky, Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo airports, were returned to home.
Due to the fact that a certain number of Tajik citizens were “stuck” in the transit zone of Sheremetyevo airport, the Embassy in collaboration with the Russian relevant departments provided them with urgent medical care and necessary food.
Thus, on behalf of the Tajik government, most of country’s citizens were sent to Tajikistan free of charge due to financial difficulties.
Additionally, while waiting at the Zhukovsky, Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo airports, Tajik citizens were provided with the necessary food and drinks.
Based on fraternal relations between Tajikistan and Russia in order to take urgent measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus the Russian relevant departments delivered for the Tajik healthcare sector necessary medications, several test systems and other tools to the diagnosis of coronavirus infection.
