Tajik PM Rasulzoda Heads the Republican Staff to Strengthen Anti-epidemic Measures
DUSHANBE, 20.03.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – According to the Presidential Order dated 18 March 2020, a Republican staff was established to strengthen anti-epidemic measures in order to prevent the spread of new coronavirus infection (COVID-19). Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda headed the staff.
Order’s another point approved the staff’s composition, which included the heads of all country’s ministries and departments, the Secretary of the Security Council, the Prosecutor General, the heads of the relevant divisions of the Presidential Executive Office, as well as the heads of Barki Tojik, Tojikmatlubot and others.
President also instructed the Republican staff to develop and approve an action plan to strengthen anti-epidemic measures in order to prevent the import and spread of coronavirus and ensure its implementation.
The ministries and departments, as well as local government bodies were also instructed to create intra-departmental and local operational staffs, respectively, in order to strengthen sanitary and preventive measures.
