Tajik FM Muhriddin Receives Palestinian Ambassador Issa
DUSHANBE, 06.04.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin received a copy of credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of Palestine to Tajikistan Loai Issa on Friday.
Following the presenting ceremony, there took place a meeting, which focused on the positive dynamics of the development of Tajik-Palestinian relations in various fields, including the deepening of political dialogue.
The parties also expressed their mutual interest in further intensifying joint work to develop the potential for interaction based on strong friendship traditions.
“A just, lasting and long-term peace in the Middle East is possible only with the implementation of a solution based on the peaceful coexistence of two independent states — Palestine and Israel,” Muhriddin emphasized.
In conclusion, Muhriddin expressed the readiness of the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide all possible assistance in opening the Palestinian Embassy in Dushanbe.
