Prosecutor General Will Take Legal Measures Against People Who Spread False Rumors and incite Panic
DUSHANBE, 07.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Prosecutor General’s Office will begin to take legal measures against people who are spreading false rumors and inciting panic.
The Prosecutor General’s Office is asking residents to call 235-11-11 and report any refusal of primary medical care, refusal to provide drugs in pharmacies and medical institutions, and when they witness the creation of an artificial shortage of drugs or inflation of prices.
It is also urging citizens not to trust unfounded rumors about an alleged increase in the number of deaths from the coronavirus, inflation of prices, shortage of essential goods, and the closure of roads between the country’s regions.
