Rushon’s Doctors and Patients Receive Presidential Aid
KHOROG, 20.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Medical workers of Rushon district of Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO) and patients currently being treated in the district central hospital received presidential aid.
This aid, consists of 35 tons of food, special protective clothing for doctors and medications for patients. It will be transferred to the regional hospitals of the Bartang Valley, and health centers in the rural communities of this district.
According to the chief doctor of the district hospital Khudonazar Mardonaev, 15 people have been hospitalized since the pandemic was confirmed in Tajikistan. Eight of them have been treated and discharged.
“The condition of the other patients is also good and we hope that they will fully recover soon,” said Mardonaev.
