Senior Police Staff Will Transfer 50% of Their Monthly Salary to Assist COVID-19 Tackling Fund
DUSHANBE, 01.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The senior staff of the internal affairs bodies have expressed their readiness to donate 50% of their monthly salary to the COVID-19 Tackling Fund. This decision was made today during a videoconference with the Minister of Internal Affairs Ramazon Rahimzoda.
The conference focused on the implementation of President Emomali Rahmon’s recommendations and instructions, which were given yesterday at the government’s meeting on preventing the spread of COVID-19.
“The time has come when we must carry out our duties around the clock and be closer to the people. We must make it clear to the population that they do must not succumb to panic,” noted Rahimzoda.
“The state and the government are sufficiently prepared to fight the coronavirus. Relevant government agencies are systematically implementing preventive measures. The population should not believe in rumors.They should continue with their lives, observe the rules of personal hygiene, maintain social distancing, and wear medical masks,” said the Interior Minister.
