Sughd Opens a Virological Laboratory for COVID-19 Detection
DUSHANBE, 21.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – A virological laboratory for the COVID-19 detection will soon open in Sughd. This information was provided by the region’s Chairman Rajabboya Ahmadzoda at the meeting with doctors and employees of health centers № 2, 4 and 5 in Khujand.
These health centers were provided with the assistance, including medications, clothing, masks, gloves, protective equipment, antiseptics and other medical supplies.
“As a result of the joint struggle, the number of people infected with coronavirus has significantly decreased today. Due to the urgent measures taken, the necessary conditions were created in city’s all medical centers,” said Ahmadzoda.
He also instructed the responsible persons to provide a list of the weakest patients in the near future in order to provide them with free medications.
