URGENT: 90 New COVID-19 Cases Recorded in Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 09.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – There are 90 new COVID-19 cases in Tajikistan as of today, bringing the total number of cases to 612. The number of those who could not recover has reached 20 people, reports the Tajik Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population.
As of May 9, 4,738 people have been under medical supervision and 522 people have been discharged over the past 24 hours.
The Tajik government and the Ministry of Health are currently taking all the necessary measures to prevent the spread of the virus and treat those that have been infected.
The Health Ministry urges all the country’s residents to follow the rules of personal hygiene in order to prevent the spread of this virus, and in case of onset of symptoms to immediately consult a doctor.
