URGENT: Number of COVID-19 Cases Increases by 82
DUSHANBE, 07.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – There are 82 new COVID-19 cases in Tajikistan as of today, bringing the total number to 461. The number of those who could not recover has reached twelve people, reports the Tajik Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population.
As of May 7, 4,205 people have been under medical supervision and 345 people have been discharged over the past 24 hours.
The Tajik government and the Ministry of Health are currently taking all the necessary measures to prevent and treat those infected.
The Health Ministry urges all the country’s residents to strictly follow the rules of personal hygiene in order to prevent the spread of this virus, and in case of onset of symptoms to immediately consult a family doctor.
