URGENT: Total COVID-19 Cases Nearing the 1000-Mark
DUSHANBE, 14.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – There are 106 new COVID-19 cases in Tajikistan today. The total number of infected individuals now is 907. Twenty-nine individuals could not recover, reports the Tajik Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population.
As of May 14, 4,299 people have undergone medical supervision and 403 people have been discharged over the past 24 hours.
The government and the Ministry of Health are taking the requisite measures to curb the proliferation of the virus.
The Health Ministry urges all the country’s residents to strictly follow the rules of personal hygiene, wear protective masks, keep a distance of at least 1.5 meters between one another, and in case of onset of symptoms to immediately consult a family doctor or call the hotlines (311 or 511) to consult with a specialist.
