Charter Flights Ready to Return Citizens from Russia
DUSHANBE, 19.06.2020. (NIAT Khovar) –Tajikistan has scheduled charter flights by Tajik Air and Somon Air from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg to retune Tajik citizens. The first flight will take place on June 25, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Priority will be given to the most vulnerable citizens, first of all sick, women with small children, the elderly, students, and those who traveled to Russia for official purposes,” the statement reads.
The Tajik Embassy in Moscow and the consulates in St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Ufa will create special commissions whose task will include compiling a
list of citizens. Based on the results of applications, citizens will be notified for the subsequent purchase of air tickets.
In this regard, Tajik citizens who are in Russia and are seeking to return should send their applications together with contact information and necessary documents to charter-russia@mfa.tj.
