FM Muhriddin Holds Video-Conversation with WMO Secretary-General
DUSHANBE, 24.06.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin held a video-conversation with the Secretary-General of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Petteri Taalas.
Taalas presented detailed information about the Water and Climate Coalition for Sustainable Development Goal 6.
While presenting information on the efforts and initiatives of the Tajik government in the field of water and climate at various levels, Muhriddin expressed his views on effects of climate change and the need to protect glaciers, as well as strengthening cooperation within the framework of the Dushanbe Water Process.
