Health Minister Abdullozoda Meets with Polish Physicians
DUSHANBE, 08.06.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Jamoliddin Abdullozoda met with Polish physicians who arrived in Dushanbe on Saturday.
Abdullozoda noted that the visit is a continuation of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two states.
The purpose of the physicians’ visit is to share their experience with their Tajik counterparts in the prevention and treatment of COVID-19.
During their month long trip, the group is expected to visit different parts of the country.
Following the visit of the WHO technical staff to Tajikistan on May 1-11, the experts of the WHO Regional Bureau submitted reports and recommendations to the Ministry of Health, of which one was to invite emergency teams to work with local health professionals.
