Hundreds of Orphans Will Be Receiving $100 Every Month
DUSHANBE, 03.06.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – In agreement with the government, the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan will provide a monthly allowance for 500 orphans.
According to the cooperation agreement between the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan and Saudi King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) signed on February 4, an allowance of an equivalent of $100 per month is set for each orphan for one year.
In collaboration with local administration of cities and districts, 500 orphans who are currently under the care of relatives have been selected from Kulob, Vose, Bokhtar, Kushoniyon, Vakhsh, Levakand, Abdurahmoni Jomi, Shahritus, Noraj, Yovon, Dusti, Khuroson, Jaloliddini Balkhi, Panj, Kubodiyon and Jayhun to receive the allowance.
Benefits will be transferred to the account of orphans through Amonatbank.
The allotted sum can be spent by the guardians specifically toward the care of the orphans.
