Over 230 Citizens Return from Kazakh-Uzbek Border
DUSHANBE, 03.06.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik citizens who were temporarily at the Zhibek Zholy border checkpoint of Kazakhstan due to border closures have returned on June 2.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses sincere gratitude to the authorities of Uzbekistan for prompt assistance in providing a non-contact corridor through their territory for the transport of 237 Tajik citizens.
Also, the ministry expresses appreciation to the Kazakh side for their assistance in organizing the unimpeded border crossing for Tajik citizens.
