The Tunisian Prime Ministry has classified the countries into three distinct groups. The first group includes countries with low epidemic prevalence, the second includes countries with medium epidemic spread, and the third is made up of countries with a high spread of the virus.

According to classification list, Tajikistan is in the green category along with Germany, China, Australia, Italy, Japan, Estonia, Croatia, Austria, Switzerland, and Vietnam.

The orange category list includes France, Albania, Azerbaijan, Canada, Spain, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Uzbekistan, Poland, Portugal and Serbia.

Russia, the United States, and most Latin American countries and Algeria — one of the main suppliers of tourist flow to Tunisia are in the red category. For tourists from these countries, entry into Tunisia remains closed, despite the republic opening its national borders on June 27.

Travellers from the green group will not be subject to specific preventive measures. While those from countries where the spread of the virus is medium will have to present a screening test (RT-PCR) carried out 72 hours earlier, and not exceeding 120 hours upon arrival in Tunisia.
