Deputy PM Ismatullozoda Visited Fayzobod District
DUSHANBE, 15.07.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – In order to fulfill President Emomali Rahmon’s instructions, a working group led by Deputy Prime Minister Shirin Ismatullozoda has been holding talks with the local residents of a number of cities from July 11. The talks will end on July 20.
Today in Fayzobod, the working group got acquainted with the sanitary and epidemiological status, prevention of the spread of infectious diseases, especially COVID-19, treatment of patients, the construction of an infectious diseases hospital, preparations of educational institutions for the new school year, provisions of health facilities, level of medications, equipment and supplies for doctors, construction and landscaping works, preparations for the winter season in educational and health facilities, and use of private and public lots in the district.
Ismatullozoda gave specific instructions to responsible officials to eliminate existing shortcomings in the social institutions of Fayzobod.
During the meetings, she emphasized that efforts aiming to reduce the number of COVID-19 infections should not be treated with carelessness or neglect.
“Many countries with significantly decreased incidence rates are now facing second and third waves of the COVID-19 pandemic, which are forcing new urgent preventative measures. Protection against this threat depends on the responsibility of each individuals. During this period, we are obliged to observe the rules of personal hygiene, sanitation, and recommendations of specialists in order protect our own health and the health of others,” added Ismatullozoda.
Earlier, the group had visited Tursunzoda, Vahdat, Varzob, Shahrinav and the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBOA). The working group includes government representatives and other officials.
