Deputy PM Ismatullozoda Travels to Various Cities and District to Examine Healthcare Sector

DUSHANBE, 08.08.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, per President Emomali Rahmon’s instructions and the corresponding decision of the Republican COVID-19 Prevention Commission, Deputy Prime Minister Shirin Ismatullozoda began her working trip to several cities and districts in order to examine the health and social protection of the population sector, as well as analyze the real state of prevention and treatment of patients with coronavirus, and explanatory works.
The working trip began in Kulob, where the existing deficiencies were examined, studied and eliminated, and a number of issues were considered in accordance with the developed plan.
During the trip, the issues relating to the effective operation of hospitals, primary health care institutions (city, district and rural medical centers), organization of duty of industry specialists, statistical data, correctness and the reliability of their presentation were examined.
Additionally, the working group will get acquainted with the process of treating patients in infectious and intensive care units, who are also on outpatient treatment, providing them with medicines, verification of compliance with sanitary and epidemiological rules in the institutions, availability of an emergency entrance for patients with fevers, chlorination regime, isolation, disinfecting solutions, the external state of the institutions, the level of knowledge of employees, diagnosis and treatment of patients with coronavirus, as well as other issues.
In order to directly study and eliminate existing shortcomings, working groups created from among relevant health workers have began to carry out their activities in five regions.
Ismatullozoda will be monitoring their activities regularly.
The working trip will continue throughout August in other regions.
