PM Rasulzoda Holds Republican COVID-19 Prevention Commission Meeting

DUSHANBE, 06.08.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda chaired a regular meeting of the Republican COVID-19 Prevention Commission.
The meeting analyzed the current state, preparatory measures for the diagnosis and treatment of patients, storage of medicines and disinfectants, training of medical specialists, preparation of educational institutions for the new 2020-2021 academic year which will begin on August 17, measures to improve the level of medical care and interaction of structures, the return of citizens from foreign countries, and other issues.
It was noted that, recently residents have shown carelessness in following anti-pandemic measures.
In this regard, the Republican Commission has decided to intensify the activities of the relevant ministries and departments in monitoring residents’ compliance with the rules of personal hygiene and public sanitation, monitoring service centers, creating an interdepartmental working commission under the supervision of the Deputy Prime Minister in order to determine the state of readiness educational institutions for the new 2020-2021 academic year, the adoption of strict anti-epidemic measures, the preparation of recommendation manuals On Organizing the Work of Educational Institutions during the Threat of the Spread of COVID-19 and Requirements for the use of Masks, compliance with preventive and anti-epidemic rules during celebrations and ceremonies, and taking appropriate measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 during international flights.
