AFC Awarded the FFT Football Academy Two Stars Status

DUSHANBE, 11.09.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Football Federation of Tajikistan (FFT) was awarded the status of a full member of the development of the elite youth scheme of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and the FFT Football Academy was awarded the elite status of two stars.
The AFC sent an official letter to the FFT, which notifies that the FFT received the status of a full member of the elite AFC youth scheme. Also, the FFT Football Academy, located in Hissor, was awarded the two stars status.
In order to become a full member of the elite youth program, the AFC commission evaluates national associations according to 20 criteria which includes leadership, planning, organization, staffing, recruitment, finance, equipment, teams, training, games, player performance, health, fitness, psychology, welfare, education, collaboration, evaluation, rules and results.
A national organization must meet at least the first 11 criteria to be accepted as a full member of the program.
As of today, only the Aspire Football Academy of Qatar has the three stars status.
