Tajikistan and Pakistan Strengthen Cooperation to Combat Transnational Crime

DUSHANBE, 26.11.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Minister of Internal Affairs Ramazon Rahimzoda held a meeting with members of the official delegation of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of Pakistan headed by Nadeem Raza who is in Tajikistan on a working visit.
The parties discussed issues relating to security, including the joint fight against transnational organized crime such as terrorism, extremism, and drug trafficking.
The parties also expressed their readiness for effective cooperation and paid attention to the main areas of mutually beneficial cooperation.
