Tajikistan and Uzbekistan Resume Regular Flights

DUSHANBE, 15.01.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The regular flights between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan have been resumed in accordance with the decision of the Republican COVID-19 Prevention Commission, reported the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency Ikrom Subhonzoda.
He noted that in accordance with the mentioned decision, flights are operated by Uzbekistan Airways and Somon Air once a week.
According to the decision, Uzbekistan Airways will operate weekly on Wednesdays and Somon Air on Fridays. Passengers can buy tickets at the main points of sale.
“In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, all passengers must comply with sanitary and anti-epidemic requirements, as well as wear protective masks and gloves. Passengers must have a medical certificate of absence of COVID-19 (PCR-test) taken within 72 hours before the flight,” noted Subhonzoda.
