DUSHANBE, 27.03.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan and Russia will resume regular flights on April 1. Establishing regular flights between the two countries was discussed at a working meeting at the Civil Aviation Agency (CAA).
The meeting was attended by the Agency’s Director Ikrom Subhonzoda, representatives of Dushanbe International Airport, Somon Air, and Russian airline UTair in Tajikistan.
Subhonzoda noted that due to the measures taken by the government of Tajikistan, the epidemiological situation has stabilized, which in turn has created a favorable environment for the resumption of regular international flights.
According to the decision taken by the Russian authorities, flights between Moscow and Dushanbe will take place once per week.
Domestic and foreign airlines were asked to not inflate prices and to regulate prices within the cost price.
Also, the Dushanbe International Airport will likely soon recall employees from unpaid labor leave.
According to existing requirements, passengers must comply with sanitary and hygienic requirements, and must present negative COVID-19 test results not exceed 72 hours.
