SCO Experts Discuss Strengthening Cooperation in Combating Illicit Trafficking In Precursors

DUSHANBE, 11.03.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the working group of experts on the supervision of precursors of the Council of Heads of Competent Bodies of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), authorized to combat drug trafficking, held a meeting. The meeting took place as part of Tajikistan’s presidency in the SCO.
Tajikistan was represented by the head of the department for drug control and drug addiction prevention of the Drug Control Agency Bozorali Safaralizoda.
SCO experts discussed the relevant points of the draft Action Plan for 2021-2023 on the implementation of the Action Program for the implementation of the Anti-Drug Strategy of the SCO Member States for 2018-2023 included in this group.
They also discussed development and strengthening of cooperation in the fight against illegal trafficking in precursors.
Following the meeting, the relevant decisions were made.
