DUSHANBE, 30.04.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Commissions for the settlement of armed conflict in border areas of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic, established by the governments of the two countries discussed the causes and consequences of the incident which occurred on April 29.
They came to a mutual agreement to end the armed conflict, to withdraw personnel and military equipment to places of permanent deployment, to take measures to prevent the escalation of tensions, to create a joint working group from among law enforcement officers and executive officials of the two countries to fully implement the planned measures and create appropriate stabilizing conditions for a fruitful negotiation process in the interests of two states.
