Large-Scale Military Exercises to Be Held in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 06.04.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Large-scale complex military exercises will be held at the end of April in three military training grounds of the Khatlon garrison, including Sumbulak, Momirak and Harbmaidon.
The exercises are organized by the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
They exercises will be attended by representatives of the country’s security agencies, reservists from the Khatlon region, government officials, and servicemen of the 201st Russian military base, with the involvement of armored vehicles, artillery and aviation.
Operational interaction will be worked out in the event of threats on the southern borders of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
