DUSHANBE, 16.04.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon attended the first session of the Council of Science, Education and Innovation.
The main purpose of meeting was to address the challenges in science, education and innovation and to promote the development of these vital sectors of society.
In connection with the reforms in these areas, a number of relevant documents have been adopted. The Program for the Advancement of the Exact Sciences for 2005-2008 was the first and most serious step in the study of basic sciences and opened the way for the involvement of more adolescents and young people in the study of natural and exact sciences.
In addition, the adoption of the strategy for the field of science and technologies for 2007 — 2015, the development program on human potential and intellectual property until 2020, the development program for natural, mathematico-technical science for 2010 — 2020, the state program on providing educational institutions with offices and the equipped educational laboratories for 2011-2015 contributed to the promotion of science and education.
In order to strengthen the intellectual potential of society, the government has announced 2020-2040 the years of study and development of natural and exact sciences, and has decided to hold an annual the competition Science – the Source of Knowledge.
