Tajik and Russian Internal Affairs Bodies Discuss Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 21.04.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Minister of Internal Affairs Ramazon Rahimzoda met with the head of the Main Directorate for Migration of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Valentina Kazakova.
The meeting focused on protecting the rights of Tajik labor migrants in Russia.
The parties also talked about preventing the growth of illegal and unorganized migration, the formation of a legal framework and the creation of mechanisms for providing legal assistance to migrants.
Likewise they exchanged views on the state of cooperation between the internal affairs bodies.
They expressed mutual confidence that the results of the visit of the Russian delegation would give a new impetus to cooperation between the internal affairs bodies of Tajikistan and Russia.
