DUSHANBE, 04.05.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – “We are satisfied with the policy of Tajikistan and President Emomali Rahmon on cooperation and achieving peace and stability, as well as progress in Afghanistan,” said US Special Representative for Reconciliation in Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad following the meeting with President Emomali Rahmon.
“Peace and stability in this region is very important for business development, trade and transportation of goods and products for Tajikistan and other Central Asian countries. This is one of the important goals of cooperation between Tajikistan and the United States,” he added.
“I am glad that every time I come to Tajikistan, there is peace and tranquility here,” Khalilzad noted.
