Tajikistan and Iran Plan to Open Police Representations

DUSHANBE, 03.06.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Minister of Internal Affairs Ramazon Rahimzoda and Iran’s Police Chief Hossein Ashtari discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of security.
The parties proposed to open Iran’s Police Representation in Tajikistan and a Representative Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan in Iran in order to strengthen cooperation.
They also discussed issues of interaction between law enforcement agencies, search and arrest of criminals, cooperation within the framework of the Interpol Central National Bureau and forensic medical examination.
Also, Rahimzoda got acquainted with the activities of the Iranian Law Enforcement Forces and visited an exhibition of military equipment, where weapons and heavy military equipment were presented.
