Over 1.5 Million People Vaccinated in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 13.08.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – As of August 11, 1,541,475 individuals have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Tajikistan.
More than 130,000 citizens received the second dose of the vaccine.
Over 60,800 people received their vaccines just on August 11.
According to the decision of the Republican COVID-19 Prevention Commission, vaccination is mandatory for citizens over 18 years old.
The vaccine is provided to the citizens free of charge.
To date, as part of cooperation between Tajikistan and other countries and organizations, the country received 4 million doses of AstraZeneca, CoronaVac and Moderna vaccines.
