Tajik and Russian Law Enforcement Agencies Ready to Fight Organized Crime

DUSHANBE, 20.12.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – On December 18, Minister of Internal Affairs Ramazon Rahimzoda met with the head of the Representative Office of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Tajikistan Alexei Egorov.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in the field of combating terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, weapons, illegal migration, as well as the exchange of operational information and other topical issues.
A number of constructive proposals were made to counter modern threats and challenges, such as transnational organized crime.
The parties expressed their readiness to further develop and expand cooperation.
