DUSHANBE, 24.12.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Recently, the cases of provocative actions of citizens and border guards of the Kyrgyz Republic have become more frequent, which lead to an aggravation of the situation in the border, reported the press center of the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan.

On December 22 at about 13:50, an Opel brand car with a Kyrgyz state license plate number 50-49 D was detained near the village of Chashma of the Lakhsh district for violating the state border of Tajikistan. It turned out that the car was occupied with four armed Kyrgyz border guards.

During the conversation and explanation about illegal border crossing and invasion of the territory of Tajikistan, the Kyrgyz border guards explained that they carried out these actions according to the instructions of their superiors.

Guided by the requirements of the previously reached agreements, the Kyrgyz border guards returned to the territory of Kyrgyzstan.

Another violation was recorded on December 22 at about 14:10 in the area of the Histevarz settlement of Sughd region, where the state border was crossed by a KAMAZ car with a Kyrgyz license plate number. As it turned out, the fuel truck belongs to a Kyrgyz citizen.

In order to slow down the violating car, Tajik Border Guards signaled to for it to stop. However, the driver, not responding to the demand of the Tajik Border Guards, increased the speed of the car and tried to run over the border guard.

As a result of the measures taken, the car was stopped and the driver was arrested. The driver of the vehicle was not injured during the arrest.

In addition, on December 22 at about 23:00, Kyrgyz citizens fired at the house of a Tajik citizen in the village of Somoniyon. The shots were fired from the Kyrgyz settlement of Mayskiy. As a result, the windows of the house of the Tajik citizen were damaged.

For all the above border incidents, working meetings are held at the level of border representatives of the parties.
