More Than 2,000 Medical Workers Received the Third Dose of the Vaccine

DUSHANBE, 19.01.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – As of January 17, 2,386 doctors recieved the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, reports the Director of the Republican Immunoprophylaxis Center of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population Faizali Saidzoda.
According to him, the revaccination campaign started appoximately a week ago. According to the plan, after doctors, citizens over 60 years old and those with chronic non-communicable diseases will be next in receiving the third dose of the vaccine.
In the future, taking into account the introduction of vaccine doses, immunization in other cities and districts of the country will be carried out in stages among vulnerable groups.
According to Saidzoda, on the night of January 17, 1,150,800 doses of the Moderna vaccine were delivered to Tajikistan.
Today, the country has a sufficient number of vaccines.
