Over 152,000 Doses of Pfizer-BioNTech Vaccine Delivered to Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 31.01.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, 152,100 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine were delivered to Tajikistan as part of the COVAX mechanism and the program for the fair distribution of doses of vaccines against COVID-19.
Currently, Tajik citizens are vaccinated against coronavirus with Sputnik V, AstraZeneca, CoronaVac, Moderna, and Pfizer vaccines.
As of January 20, 4,355,582 people or 75.6% of the country’s population has been vaccinated against COVID-19. To date, 3,636,802 people also received the second dose of the vaccine, which constitutes 63.1% of the population.
