Over 79% Citizens Vaccinated Against COVID-19 in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 03.02.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – As of February 1, 4,594,703 people, or 79.7% of citizens have been covered by the COVID-19 vaccine in Tajikistan. Also, 3,902,269, or 67.7% of citizens received the second dose of the vaccine, reports the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population.
According to the decision of the Republican COVID-19 Prevention Commission, vaccination against coronavirus in Tajikistan for citizens from the age of 18 is mandatory.
The vaccine is provided to citizens free of charge.
